Thread: 8/0 – 10/0 brown or tan
Hook: # 14 – 18 thin wire, dry fly hook
Tail: Hungarian partridge or similar feather fibres
Body: Brown or grey squirrel blend
Thorax: Brown CDC dubbing
Wing: White, tan or cream CDC puff
Imitating: Emerging mayfly nymph
For use: Rivers, streams and still waters
Fishing method:
Fished when hatches occur and fish can be seen boiling just below the surface.
Dead drift just below the surface or within the water film using a long, fine, creased leader.
